Forests still cover about 30 percent of the world’s land area, but they are disappearing at an alarming rate. Between 1990 and 2016, the world lost 502,000 square miles (1.3 million square kilometers) of forest, according to the World Bank—an area larger than South Africa
Our vision is to use the lands for farming which have been empty for a very long time and suppose to be empty in the upcoming Years. We will be using the lands for different types of farming like UHDP Mango and other Farming purposes.This will not only make our Earth green but it will also generate revenue for the landowners. In the second phase, we will try to convert this farming lands into tourism place where tourists can spend their weekend and be more close to Nature.
In the last three-decade, the rate of deforestation has increased very rapidly. Due to increase in population and mass cutting of trees Global warming has become a world-level threat . The effect of Global Warming can be seen in the past five years. The sudden change in weather, forest fires, pollution, Decreasing life expectancy of Humans, extinction of animals, birds and trees are mostly affected by this. So now is the time to think about future generations and we must take a stand to do something about this.
Our Plantation campaign is currently operating in 6 cities in India and we have planted more than 150,000 plants. We are one of the leading Plantation NGO In India with more than 1000 volunteers with different age groups from 16 to 50 years.
With UHDP Farming we can increase the yield of mango at least 8-9 times more than the traditional farming . Traditional farming have about 80-90 trees per acre while UHDP Farming have at least 600 trees.
India ranks first among world’s mango producing countries accounting for about 50% of the world’s mango production. Other major mango producing countries include China, Thailand, Mexico, Pakistan, Philippines, Indonesia, Brazil, Nigeria and Egypt
Bigger, better and more profitable! If there was one practice that mango farmers have adopted and it has benefits them immensely, it is Ultra High Density Plantation (UHDP). This technique helps farmers reap their harvest in 3-4 years against the traditional technology which takes 7-9 years
